Fray Resistant sleeving is a braided sleeve that is ideal for field installations. It can be easily terminated using regular scissors, without the need for a hot knife. Although not completely fray proof, it is suitable for various applications such as automotive, industrial, and computer uses. For a secure finish, we recommend using a fastener. Additionally, our Fray Resistant Expandable Sleeving is available with a flame retardant composition that not only self-extinguishes quickly but also reduces flame spread. This material meets specifications such as MIL-202, FAR-25, VW-1, FR-1, and is halogen-free with a melt temperature of 482 degrees Fahrenheit.
